Labyrinth Amulet Pendant

Labyrinths are mazes or winding pathways leading to a sacred center. When you walk a labyrinth you do so in a quiet, meditative state. This helps open the soul and foster unity and wholeness. It is a symbol of the spiritual journey into ones soul and back into the world and dates back thousands of years. Labyrinths were an integral part of many cultures and religions because they define sacred space.

The most famous labyrinth is the one depicted on the floor of the Chatres Cathedral in France. The labyrinth carved into this amulet was found on a coin from the Island of Crete and dates back 3,500 years. Crete was known as a matriarchal, peace-loving culture that worshipped nature.

These Labyrinth Disks are handmade from fired clay. Glazed front and back. Each piece is hand pressed so size, shape and pattern will vary slightly.

USES: Add a cord to wear as a pendant, hang as an ornament for your tree or on your altar. Keep loose to hold as a meditation amulet.

Sizes are approx 1.5" - 2" in diameter. Design is same on both front and back. Hole size is approx 2 - 3 mm in diameter. Comes with a description card.
