Gaia is the Greek Mother Goddess, an ancient primeval goddess and the personification of the Earth. Gaia emerged at the creation of the universe. The Oracle of Delphi in ancient Greece, originally belonged to the Goddess Gaia, who was the resident prophetesses. She presided over marriages and was offered the first harvests of fruits and grains. Gaia is known as Earth or Mother Earth, she is the primordial element from which all things originated. Gaia was born from chaos and the great void of emptiness within the universe. The word Gaia has become a common tern used to describe out planet Earth and the protection of her as our mother. My Gaia Goddess Pendant design is handmade, glazed a beautiful vibrant green, reminiscent of lush forests. She is wrapped with sterling silver wire and beads and adorned with two aventurine gemstone beads. 2" long. Includes
