Inanna is the Sumerian Goddess of the earth and fertility. She descended to the underworld, passing through seven gates to confront the darkness and her dark sister Eriskegal. At each gate, piece by piece, she removed an item of her clothing and jewelry until she was naked. After her descent, she hung for three days and nights until she was reborn. She has since become known as the Goddess of death and rebirth.

The necklace includes the Inanna Pendant which is hand made from fired, glazed clay with a mother-of-pearl finish. Inanna is wrapped in sterling silver wire and adorned with two amethyst gemstones. My Inanna Goddess Necklace is strung with czech glass and sterling silver beads. Colors are light purple, pale turquoise and bright turquoise beads. Clasp is Sterling silver.

Packaging- This necklace comes boxed with a stretch tie and description card.
